I would like that only minimum decent rate jobs are posted
Sometimes I see jobs posted asking for as little as 0,03 $ per word for a medium size translation. Is there anyway to control that? I find it insulting and degrading. It would be nice to add an option for the job posters and define a decent minimum wage.

Just in case anyone did not see it, what we have done for now in this area is what is described at http://www.proz.com/about/ipetition
Strictly speaking, the decision has not been made at this time to define a minimum wage. On the other hand, there is already the possibility of defining your own personal minimum, and the ability to filter according to your own minimum will be improved.
The changes made in this area will be ongoing for several months. It is possible to subscribe for weekly updates via the page linked above.

Putting a "Report Unprofessional Low rate" button on the page of the posted job.
Actually many clients used currently to post jobs with very low rates. These rates are below the unfair level, really.
I think according to the last rules put by Proz.com to prevent posting low priced/rated jobs, we need to put a button inside the posted job page enable freelancers to report that this job is of low/very low rate. So the job poster either to raise the rate to an acceptable one or to post his job in another unprofessional data base rather than Proz.com.

Grant a bigger discount in Proz renewal membership using brownies. Now is only $10.
The discount used to be $20 por 4000 bownies when the fee was much lower. Now that the annual fee is $119, we may get only $10 discount for the same amount of brownies. I suggest you increase the possible discount by raising the value of the brownies (i.e. $20 per 4000 b) or/and requiring more brownies for bigger discounts (i.e. $10 per 3000, 20 per 5000 and 30 per 8000 b). Even though membership at Proz is really worth it, it has been increasing during the years and has become somehow too high lately.

sample extract of job in every job posting (at least for editing)
I suggest we should create a section to report clients/agencies offering for eding texts that have been Google translated, It has happened more often lately that I am asked to "edit"/"proofread" those texts thus ending translating them in the end or ask for a human translation. On a professional site, clients should be screened or educated to behave professionally if they expect the same in return.

Automatically search glossary when posting Kudoz question
I think you should automate glossary search before allowing Kudoz question posting in order to eliminate duplicate or similar posting. It should not be difficult to program and it will improve Kudoz.

Translation project reminder app
One of your competitors, tolingo.com, has made a nice little reminder application (in Adobe AIR), which reminds the translators instantly once a new project in the relevant language combination becomes available. Please consider a similar solution for pushing translation reminders to translators - as a substitution to reminder emails.
Right now, I have the 'Open Projects' page (front page on the Proz website) set to update every 5 minutes, which is not exactly an optimal solution.

improve the Terminology search terms feature by being able to select directly one field (ex. medical
I find the current system not flexible. Could it be possible to have a more flexible and precise advance search function? (selecting directly and only one field to narrow researches.)

There should be a "Freelancer Blue Board" as well.
If there's a Blue Board for companies, companies should have a Outsourcer Blue Board as well. There are hundreds of unprofessional or bad translators over there and the companies should have a way to see how a freelancer works according to others. The WWA is not a good solution because many companies never answer to those requests or the PM's have no right to write WWA's or to access to their company Proz profile.

Degrees/diplomas in subjects other than translation in the profile.
Having a degree/diploma in a particular subject might be even more important than having one in translation, especially for technical translations, but there is no specific place for it in the profile.

Allow more latitude and freedom in forum postings
For me the most attractive part of ProZ used to be the discussion forums. They are now being strangled by too many rules, rules too broad and ill-defined, and rules that are enforced in a too broad, arbitrary and high-handed manner.
I don't suggest that it should be an umoderated free-for all, but that the rules be very clear, narrowly focused, and applied with a very light hand.42 votes -
Add more search criteria to INTERPRETERS, there is no way to find conference interpreters currently
The main reason from being a professional member of Proz.com is to search professionals by different criteria on the Connect platform, which is a fairly complete application to search for translators but it doesn't help at all when looking for interpreters. We find that most translators also list interpreting as a service, and most have some experience in basic liaison interpreting but barely any are professional conference interpreters (mainly simultaneous), so the feature is useless for us when looking for interpreters for a conference (unless we were to have the time to read every CV from a list of hundreds… more

Translation companies listed as translators and interpreters
There are many translation companies working with 5 or more languages listed in "Directory of translators and interpreters". I think they should be listed in "Directory of translation companies". Maybe they should be included in some other directory for people acting as both translators and translation companies.

Verify option to Translation education
Just like Credentials can be verified by the staff, I would like to have an option to verify and even attach my certificates to the Translation Education. I know of translators who claim to have BA and MA in Languages or Translation and don't even have a degree.

email your entire database every time you ban an agency for being a bad payer.
So many Proz translators do not check the blue board because we just aren't aware enough of it and many time we take work from agencies that are already banned. If you send out a courtesy email to your entire database every time you ban an agency as well as an introductory email of all agencies that have been banned so far, it would be a great, great service to your members and non members.

In the jobs, publish the name of person that got the job and the rate offered.
In this case, the community will follow the offered and accepted rates on every job and can analyse what they can do increase the likelyhood of getting a job later.

Introduce additional payment options. Webmoney would be just great! www.webmoney.com
I am a professional translator, use website features on a daily basis, but cannot go premium, even though I would love to! In many countrie paypal doesn't work, other payment systems are not much efficient. (all the complaints can be found in forum threads). Why don't you add more payment options? Look at www.webmoney.com
